Duties
- Managing product documentation and standardization
- Managing and implementing product development roadmaps
- Leading R&D efforts and applying for R&D grants
- Leading patent application and IP protection efforts
- Working with engineering and production to track product development and iteration
- Providing technical support to sales and marketing teams
- Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
Experience/Skills
- Proven success developing hardware and software microgrid products
- Familiarity with solar, inverter, battery, and generator technologies from 15-250kW
- Experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing microgrids
- Experience applying for and executing on government research grants
- Experience writing and applying for patents
- In-depth industry knowledge
Location
- Grass Valley
Compensation
- Negotiable: experience dependent
- Starting range: $80,000-$120,000 annual
- Salary + stock options
