Construction Project Manager
The Project Manager (Construction) must be able to take a project from the signed contract phase to construction complete. The Project Manager will interface with the project development group, Engineering, and the Development Project Manager to take projects from signed contract to completed projects.
Responsibilities
Layout and implement the permitting processes required for the sites to be developed.
Project permitting, including Planning, Environmental, Civil, NEPA, CEQA, AQMD, Fire and others.
Manage site engineering and design with the outside site engineering and design firms.
Coordinate site survey and Geotechnical work.
Participate in new project bid walks.
Perform Contractor site bids and site Bid walks
Manage contractors during the construction process
Identify and manage the completion of any/all punchlist items on site
Manage contractor payment schedules and invoice approvals.
Skills
Construction/Development Project Management experience.
Energy development experience.
Land control, easements, title reports, and land development.
General construction knowledge
Knowledge of environmental and jurisdictional permit requirements.
Green field project development experience and all requirements to develop permit and build a project.
Good people skills and the ability to work with new clients
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Technical/Electrical background a plus.
