Software Engineer

BoxPower has worked in locations from Alaska to Puerto Rico and everywhere in between, serving clients in disaster relief, rural electrification, medical clinics, utilities, remote agriculture, and off-grid commercial. To date, BoxPower has offset more than 28 million pounds of carbon dioxide and is providing power to over 4,000 individuals and businesses.
Responsibilities
- Integrating data from various back-end services and databases
- Management and continual development of the Energy Audit and System Integration (EASI) Web application platform
- Ensuring quality and performance of application to specifications
- Designing and building the EASI mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms
- Fixing application bugs before final release
- Contribute to the functionality and overall visual design of the energy audit optimization application platform
Requirements
- Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field major
- In-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS, PHP and Javascript
- Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or C++
- Excellent coding and proofreading skills
- Ability to manage your workload with minimal supervision
- Experience in creating and implementing UI design is a plus

Compensation
- $60,000 salary or commensurate with experience
